Mia Interview
The Great Camper Damper
When you ask the girls "where does milk come from"? the used to say .... "from the shops". After showing them some farm life we have tried to re-educate them on the basics.
Making bread was one of the things we knew would be educational. But first we had to make "FIRE". and without matches or a lighter. We baked some potatoes as well in the coals. Then mummy kneaded up some dough and away we go!
Sorry for the corny poetry...
Cooma- Marshmallow toasting
03One of the things i wanted to have the girls experience was a campfire and how to make one. Followed by some tasty marshmallow toasting. Check the clip our its prettty cool.

Kings Canyon NT
Kings Canyon
The upper rim walk is uphill and about 4.5 - 5 hours to complete.
Here you can find a spot to sit or relax along the way and observe the bird life.
The Park Service has spent a lot of money on making this walk as easy as possible and for the first few hundred metres even wheelchair bound visitors can make this section with some assistance.
At the end of the Creek Walk is a raised platform with signage that tells you about this amazing place. Take a few minutes to just sit and relax and take in your surroundings.
On a hot day the Canyon floor is the place to be with tall trees and plenty of shade. This sheltered environment will help make wildlife spotting easier too.
